The team behind poker video site PokerTube.com has released a new gambling related video site.
The Swedish company Tube AB is focusing on niche video sites and has developed its own platform for this. CasinoTube is an attempt to create a fun and informative casino community with user generated video content.
Just as on PokerTube, it will record and comment on different online casino games to encourage the operators to see the value in this kind of content. Users can also upload and share live footage from their casino travels/visits.
Founders Stefan Wittmoss and Ronnie Gustafsson will run casino tournaments with their partners, which will give the online casinos a new group of players that they haven’t been able to reach earlier. These tournaments will be recorded and uploaded on CasinoTube.
Wittmoss commented: "Lots of people love casino games and we’re sure they would like to share this passion with others. We see this community as a natural step from poker. We have taken the user generated video content within poker to another level and hope we can do the same with casino games."
