Online gaming software provider Viaden Gaming has announced its Remote Gambling Association membership.

The gaming software specialist sought the certification in order to reinforce its dedication to a tightly regulated online gambling industry.

The London and Brussels-based trade association works with some of the world’s key online gaming operators including Paddy Power and William Hill to ensure high standards within the industry, through the development of strict codes of conduct.

Viaden Gaming UK spokesperson Heather Baker commented: "We firmly believe in the importance of industry regulation, as without it we feel there won’t be one to develop in future. The recent Pan-European agreement published by the European Committee for Standardisation was a major breakthrough for the remote gambling sector and the nine policy objectives ranging from the protection of vulnerable customers through to accurate payment systems and responsible marketing need to be seen as universally standard for any online operator."
