Finland’s state-owned gambling operator Veikkaus has launched its own live casino brand powered by Playtech.
Veikkaus Livekasino launched on Thursday offering traditional casino games such as roulette and blackjack.
The games are led by game managers and presenters and are supported by Finnish-speaking dealers.
Veikkaus Livecasino’s studio is located in Playtech’s offices in Riga, Latvia, where around 20 dealers work.
“The games are streamed live, which brings an authentic casino atmosphere directly to the player, for example on the sofa,” said Sami Partanen, product group manager of Livekasino.
“Gameshow-type games bring a new kind of entertaining and exciting game content alongside traditional casino games. Players have the opportunity to communicate with the presenters via chat and players can also chat with other players.”
The live casino games run from 12pm to midnight every day.
