A new combined company is to be formed from GameCo and Malta-based games studio Green Jade Games, it was announced this morning.

Games provider GameCo, whose chairman is media and technology veteran Robert Montgomery, is headquartered in Las Vegas and currently licensed to operate in more than 30 gaming jurisdictions, including Nevada. Green Jade is an igaming studio with offices in both Malta and in the US. It is led by ex-Svenska Spel executive Jesper Kärrbrink (pictured).
The two companies are now merging into a fresh entity, Green Jade Group. It hopes to make a major impact on several games categories with a portfolio focused on higher LTV and new players, including slots, table games, crash games and arcade games.
In a statement, the two companies said: “Green Jade Group also combines the expertise of five internal game production teams, has its own proprietary RGS, has five major aggregator integrations and enables access to over 600 casinos, all with the focus of creating the next generation of slots, player engagement features and ushering in the era of arcade-style games.
“The group will feature Jesper Kärrbrink leading the combined entity as CEO, Robert Montgomery as chairman, and Benedict McDonagh taking on the role of COO and leading the European business forward.”
