180Vita, the owner of i-gaming sites including PokerTube, FootballTube and PokerVIP, has launched Tipday, a free sports-betting site.
Tipday, which, allows players to make predictions on a range of sporting events including the English Premier League and NBA basketball, is now live on desktop following a soft launch earlier in the year. Android, iOS and Facebook apps are due to be added before the end of Q2 2014.
Players earn points for correct tips and can progress to real-money betting should they choose to with Tipday offering the best available odds on each event from a variety of different sportsbooks.
180Vita founder Jamie Nevin said: “With more and more people becoming interested in sports betting, we wanted to build the world’s largest sports tipping authority to help provide a fun and social way to learn how to make informed bets.
“Sports fans love showing off that they know more than their friends and Tipday lets them show off their expertise and sporting knowledge without having to risk any of their money.
“Then, when they’re ready to make real-money bets, they will be in the best possible position to do so,” added Nevin.
