Independent studio Thunderkick has launched its latest slot title, Grand Melee.
The 6x4 reel game features a knightly joust theme and a sticky respin feature which can trigger any time in the base game, showcasing a random symbol in the area above the reels. If five or more land in the game area after a spin, they’ll stick and lock into place, remaining until no new instances appear.
The game area expansion symbol can land on any spin, which will then change the current sticky symbol as well as add a new row to the bottom of the game area, up to a maximum of seven rows.
A symbol upgrade mechanic can also appear concurrently to a sticky respin, which will upgrade the chosen symbol into one of higher value.
Five or more bonus symbols on any spin will trigger the free spins bonus game, introducing a bonus meter at the bottom of the game area. The round will continue until no more bonuses appear on the reels, with any sticky symbols remaining in place for its duration.
