Adjusted gross revenue (AGR) from mobile sports betting in Vermont, US, fell 8.8 per cent year-on-year in April to US$1.5m.

The latest figure reported by the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery was down from $1.7m in April 2024 but was up 17.4 per cent month-on-month from March’s $1.3m.

Vermont’s April mobile betting handle was $16.2m, down 4.9 per cent year-on-year and down 29.2 per cent month-on-month.

Tax revenue for the state of Vermont from mobile wagering fell 9.4 per cent year-on-year to $482,245 but rose 18.8 per cent month-on-month from March’s figure of $405,942.

In the latest month, basketball pulled in the most bets at $4.6m, followed by baseball with $2.98m in bets.

Of the total handle, $12.9m in bets were made by Vermont residents, while $3.3m in bets came from users travelling into the state to place their wagers.
