The former group managing director at Betsson, Jeremy Taylor, has become interactive managing director at Genting Casinos from a new headquarters in Malta.
Genting is one of the UK’s largest casino operators and launched its first online casino in 2008, with the Genting Bet sports book opening in 2013.
The group, which also has over 40 land-based casinos, will now have its GentingCasino.com and GentingBet.com overseen by Taylor, whose initial priority is to bring to fruition the process of site transformation now taking place, with a mobile first, UX-driven product for the UK and then European casino customers. The Genting affiliate staff will also move to Malta to run Genting Affiliates.
The group has a high-level Live Dealer Casino with two live table feeds from its own Resorts World Birmingham and Manchester casinos and will add a live feed directly from the Palm Beach Casino in London’s Mayfair.
Genting was established in Malaysia in 1965 and is one of the country’s biggest corporations employing 60,000 people globally.
