Svenska Spel is supporting the Swedish Olympic Committee's application to host the Winter Olympics and Paralympics 2026.
On June 24, the International Olympic Committee's members will vote to place the games in either Stockholm/Are or Milan/Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Svenska Spel's CEO Patrik Hofbauer said: “We believe that Sweden has a good chance of organizing the Olympics and Paralympics, not least considering that the Swedish structure is sustainable both from a social, democratic and environmental perspective, which has been important to us when we decided to support the application.
“As the country's largest sports sponsor, it feels natural for Svenska Spel to support the campaign. It feels exciting that we can actively go in and support.”
