Betcade, the innovative online gaming Android app store, made a splash as a first-time exhibitor at the recent iGaming Super Show in Amsterdam, as CEO and founder David Chang told iNTERGAMINGi.

“The Super Show was a very productive event for us," said Chang.

"We were able to show a full demo of the store showing all of the store discovery, including content channels, featured placements, search and - most importantly - the deposit functionality, as well as all of the user account features.

“We had a lot of great meetings with our operator and payment partners, and of course with the affiliates themselves who will be a very important component of our marketing strategy.

Chang also spoke at the event’s Executive Conference about the role of creative individuals in the age of automation. “Basically, what makes us human will also make us even more valuable and irreplaceable even as more basic functions are performed increasingly by robotics or via artificial intelligence,” he explained.

“I felt like it went very well and hopefully it provided a new perspective on what the future holds for us."

In addition, Paul Barclay, UK general manager for Betcade, moderated a well attended panel on mobile payments with experts from SecureTrading, ECommPay, Adyen and Devcode Payment.

Chang said that Betcade would “definitely” be back at the Super Show in 2017 as the company maintains a European focus. “We’re still firming up our plans, but obviously Europe is very important to us.

“Gaming is fortunate to have all of these events and conferences that are so well supported by all parts of the industry. There’s a lot of value to be gained by participating, more so than in other industries.”

The Amsterdam show was also a chance for visitors and partners to see the Betcade app in action. Chang: “As visitors saw from the demos we ran, the store is fairly complete at this point. Operators understand the value proposition and love the user interface and ease of use.

“We’re now hard at work integrating our operator partners and their apps into the store, readying our customer support infrastructure, and getting ready for launch this summer so that we’re ready to take on consumers and give them the best possible experience with Betcade.”
