Online gaming operator Stride Gaming has been served notice by the UK Gambling Commission of its intention to require the licensee to pay a “significant financial penalty”.

The notice – which Stride notes is not final – follows a review of historical licensed activities.

The UK-based company, whose brands include Magical Vegas, Regal Wins Casino, Spin and Win, King Jack Casino and Kitty Bingo, stated to the market today that it is taking advice as to its options. These include “making representations to the UKGC about the proposed financial penalty and, if need be, appealing the ultimate decision of the UKGC and/or the size of any penalty.”
