The new slot release from Stakelogic, Emperor’s Champion, takes players back to the 12th century and tasks them to defend the kingdom with prizes of up to 12,500x the stake up for grabs.
The game is set across a 5x4 game grid, with 20 active paylines on every spin. Players will need to keep their eyes out for a range of special symbols that can land during the base game and the free spins round.
Multiplier wilds can land on any spin. In addition to substituting for other symbols, these can display multipliers of up to 5x in the base game and 10x in the free spins round. These multipliers are applied to any wins they are a part of.
Free spins are triggered when players land three bonus symbols on reels one, three and five. A trail also appears above the reels, progressing one stage on every spin.
Any wilds that land during the free spins will leave behind one of three coloured wild frames. These remain persistent on the grid until the final spin. Landing further wilds inside the frames will upgrade the frames. In the final spin all the frames that have been collected on the reels will become their corresponding wilds or multiplier wilds.
The mighty champion symbol can land on any spin and will provide boosts for other symbols on the grid. They can upgrade wild symbols into multiplier wilds in both the base game and the free spins round. The champion will also remove bonus symbols, turning them into maximum multiplier wilds, up to 10x.
Finally, the crusade bonus can trigger on any random spin, adding a champion symbol and two wild symbols anywhere on the reels.
Stakelogic's Spin to Win progressive jackpot and the Super Wheel bonus are included. The Super Wheel bonus, if triggered, transitions players to a live studio.
