New York's sports betting handle in April jumped by 10.8 per cent year-on-year to US$1.54bn, with gross gaming revenue also up from last April's efforts.

The New York State Gaming Commission revealed GGR was $138.8m, a 33 per cent increase on April 2022's $104.1m.
However, both handle and GGR decreased month-on-month in the Empire State.
FanDuel pulled in the most handle in New York in April at $626.3m and posted GGR of $70.1m.
DraftKings, meanwhile, accommodated for handle of $516.4m and GGR of $44.9m. Caears Sportsbook posted $185.3m in handle and $12.8m in GGR.
