Under the terms of the deal, Sportradar data will be used to power Dish sports offerings, including the Game Finder app, which gives customers up-to-the-minute box scores and updates from live games.

Specifically, Sportradar will provide its data APIs to DISH from major sports leagues, including the NBA, MLB and NHL.

Brian Josephs, vice president of digital sport at Sportradar, said: “Dish is a well-respected leader in the pay-TV space and has been a mainstay for consumers for nearly 40 years.

“We look forward to working with DISH in providing fresh and enhanced sports data experiences for its loyal customers.”

In addition to supporting the Game Finder app, Sportradar will integrate sports data across Dish’s platforms, including its Hopper family receivers and the Dish Anywhere app.
