Spectrum Gaming Group, a global independent research and professional services firm, has completed the acquisition of EE Johnson Research, a New Jersey-based market research firm.
Eugene Johnson, president and founder of EE Johnson, will head up that division and take on the additional title of senior vice president, market research and online studies.
Johnson, who has worked in gaming for almost 30 years, developed EE Johnson Research into a leading market analysis firm that has served casinos and a wide range of other industries.
Spectrum is a founding member of Global i-Gaming Advisors (GiGA), a best-of-breed partnership with leading online gambling research and advisory firms H2 Gambling Capital and Gaming Edge Associates.
Johnson's client list has included domestic gaming operators such as Delaware Park, Dover Downs, Finger Lakes Gaming, Horseshoe Gaming, Indiana Live, Saratoga Gaming and Raceway, and Twin River, online operators including 888 and Party Poker, as well as gaming suppliers such as Bally Technologies and Spielo.
Spectrum and its sister company, Spectrum OSO Asia, serve a growing list of government agencies and private clients and services include: lottery consulting, internet gambling research and analysis, drafting of legislation and regulation, anti-money laundering controls and gaming regulatory services.
