In a survey of nearly 2,000 social casino players carried out by Traffic Generation, 38 per cent of respondents said they would like to participate in a cross-platform tournament.

The same number of players (38 per cent) said they had “liked” land-based casino pages on Facebook, and when asked what kind of posts they found the most interesting, 26 per cent responded: “Contests”.
Thirty-five per cent of the 1,932 players polled also said they would spend “real money” on their favourite social casino games.
These findings suggest a clear market for casino operators to target, with the aim of migrating players from social gaming platforms to land-based and real-money gaming.
