Double Down Interactive, makers of DoubleDown Casino, launched its latest title - Photo Booth Friends - yesterday.

The new release allows Facebook players to personalise and customise their slot reels with profile photos. Combined with 17 other casino games at the DoubleDown Casino, it is hoped the new slot game will drive continued growth of an audience comprised of millions of monthly players from around the world.
 
"We’ve made a significant investment to develop a truly social slot game, one that takes full advantage of the many social features provided by Facebook. We’ve done it by providing a unique slot game that’s full of social and viral features, culminating in an experience that’s all about winning with friends," said Double Down Interactive CEO Greg Enell.
 
This is the 18th integrated game title for DoubleDown Casino, which also features other casino-style games including blackjack, video poker, roulette and a series of digital slots. The company has pushed out several new releases within the past few months and expects more additions to come later this year.
 
Casino games are a major category for the social gaming market and social games are on track to dominate growth in the video game market and reach US$5bn in sales by 2015, according to Parks Associates.
