Newgioco Group, a gaming technology company providing integrated software solutions to regulated online and land-based sports betting and gaming operators, has announced the engagement of US bookmaker Kevin Slicker to lead the firm’s US sports betting operations and business development plan.
Slicker has spent over 30 years in the sports betting industry and for the past decade has been a consultant to sportsbooks, casinos and DFS providers. He is currently working with several US tribes in preparation for the legalisation of sports betting.
As product consultant to Newgioco, Slicker will direct the American design and infrastructure of its ELYS betting platform and will lead the operations team build-out from his base in Oklahoma, working directly with developers in Europe to seek to create an online and land-based US-facing sports betting solution for state lottery, casino and route operators, as well as private operators.
