Atlantic City's Resorts Casino Hotel has been awarded an online gambling licensing from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
The casino is offering remote gambling under the name Resorts Digital at resortscasino.com. It also operates using the Mohegan Sun license at mohegansuncasino.com due to Mohegan Sun being part-owner of Resorts Casino.
Mark Giannantonio, Resorts Casino's president and CEO, said: “The company was the first casino company in the country to open a digital gaming lounge on its own property. To me, that’s the greatest marketing we can have.”
As part of the licensing agreement the New Jersey Casino Control Commission granted Resorts’ request to transfer its internet gaming assets to a new entity, Resorts Digital Gaming LLC.
