A second successive month of record igaming revenue in Michigan helped the US state’s revenue from igaming and mobile sports betting in March jump 17.7 per cent from February.

Igaming and mobile sports betting in the US state of Michigan generated US$257.1m in gross revenue in March.

Up 17.7 per cent on February’s, the figure was also the highest for 2024.

March also saw the Great Lakes State surpass February’s igaming revenue record of $188m to post revenue of $215.2m.

Gross sports betting receipts for March also climbed from $30.5m in February to $41.9m.

Total mobile sports betting handle was up by 19.3 per cent from February to $480.4m.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board said combined total adjusted igaming and mobile sports betting adjusted gross receipts for March were $221.1m.

Igaming generated $194.5m of this total, with sports betting contributing $26.7m.

Operators submitted $41.1m in taxes and payments to the state of Michigan in March, the regulator said.
