Play’n Go has revealed its move into Portugal, announcing it is now certified to provide its content to operators in the Portuguese market.

It marks the latest development is a series of the company’s expansions into new markets in order to expose its content to a wider global audience, following on from moves into Sweden and the Philippines.

The launch coincides with the expansion of the company’s partnership with PokerStars Casino into the Portuguese market. It means PokerStars Casino players in that region will instantly have access to the library of Play’n Go content, with more operators to follow.

Although only in its second full year of existence, the online gambling market in Portugal is seen by Play’n Go as “thriving”. Titles including Rise of Olympus, Sweet Alchemy and Legacy of Egypt will all be launched into the market.
