The PokerStars Trio Series has returned for 2019, this time with €2m more in guarantees for a total of €7m across the series.
The Trio Series, which first launched in May 2018 to celebrate Portugal joining France and Spain in shared liquidity play at PokerStars, will feature 180 events – more than double 2018’s tally – and takes place from May 26 to June 10.
Key events include the €250 buy-in main event with €500,000 guaranteed and €10 buy-in Classico with €125,000 guaranteed, each on June 9.
Another highlight, the €50 buy-in Sunday warm-up with a €125,000 guarantee, will take place every Sunday during the period.
Players can buy in directly from as little as €5 or qualify for less at satellites from just €0.50. Players can also win their way to the main event in special €12.50 spin and go’s, as well as through a special freeroll, the Trio Series Main Event Depositor Freeroll, which takes place at 21:00 CEST on June 8.
Last year’s Trio Series proved to be a hit with more than 40,000 players joining the action and pushing the €5m guarantee to €6.5m in prize pools overall.
