Brian Mattingley is to step down from his position of Playtech’s chair and from its board within “the next few months.”

Mattingley is remaining in place until a replacement is found to ensure a smooth transition.
The board has also approved changes to the structure of its committees with effect from March 1, 2025. This includes merging the Regulatory & Compliance and the Sustainability & Public Policy Committees into the Sustainability & Compliance Committee, which will be chaired by Linda Marston-Weston, with Ian Penrose and Samy Reeb as ordinary members. Marston-Weston will also become a member of the Nomination Committee from 1 March 2025.
In addition, Samy Reeb will become chair of the Remuneration Committee from March 1, 2025. He will also continue to serve as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee.
"Brian has been an outstanding chair, offering invaluable guidance, constructive challenge and unwavering dedication to the team during a time of significant transformation at Playtech,” said Playtech CEO Mor Weizer.
“We have benefitted enormously from his strong relationships across the industry, and his depth of knowledge and experience. His presence on the Board will be greatly missed, and we wish him the very best."
“I would like to thank my fellow Board members, the leadership team and, above all, the wider Playtech family for their passion and commitment,” added Mattingley.
