PayPoint.net has made enhancements to its FraudGuard system which will enable gaming operators to build their own bespoke screening rules to eliminate fraud.

Using a simple web-based user interface, gaming operators using PayPoint.net’s Complete Solution can now set their own rules for determining whether transactions are fraudulent or not. The new capabilities enable gaming providers to determine specific fraud policies for different risk profiles, in particular country-by-country or against a detailed mix of criteria so that the eighth MasterCard transaction of over £100 from an IP address in the Philippines is treated differently to the 18th transaction from a UK-issued Maestro.

FraudGuard brings powerful enterprise-ready fraud capabilities within the reach of gaming providers, large and small. It differentiates itself from the rules-based tools on the market by offering a level of sophistication only seen in expensive off-the-shelf products, its developers claim. With these enhancements it can enable more targeted control over specific payment criteria.
