The fourth Annual Online Bingo Summit, attended by iNTERGAMINGi, got off to a busy start in London this morning with about 300 people expected to attend over the next two days, which is an increase on last year's turnout.

The first conference that took place this morning featured a CEO power panel of Mark Blandford, CEO of Valhalla Investments, Simon Collins, founder of Cashcade, Tarnie Williams, CEO of Bingo.com, and Joe Saumarez Smith, CEO of European Domain Management. Talk during the conference turned to legislation in the US as the panel discussed the huge potential of the market. "The US is absolutely going to become the biggest market," said Williams.

Members of the panel also spoke about other markets that are showing potential for the online bingo sector, with Mexico, Brazil and Argentina being highlighted as key bingo territories that operators are expected to target within the next 18 months.

A couple of panel members said they believed that online bingo has not quite yet come of age, but as this year’s increased size of the conference audience showed, the sector is set to grow from strength to strength.
