OKTO has revealed plans to launch new products customised for the German market after its wallet solution was granted approval by the country’s gambling regulator.

The accreditation from Die Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder means sports betting operators can use the e-wallet payment service in Germany.

Mikhail Ovsepyan, Head of Germany at OKTO, backed the company to become a “major player” in the country’s igaming industry with the “significant milestone” of approval.

Bet.3000 will be the first operator to launch OKTO’s e-wallet solution, with further operators in the pipeline.

OKTO said its planned new products will meet the unique requirements of the German market while adhering to all payment and gaming regulations.
