Following the news that the Gibraltar-based Odobo is to close its offices on June 10, having ceased trading on May 31, the company’s founder and CEO Ashley Lang told iNTERGAMINGi that he is keen to support employees at a difficult time.
Commenting on the timing of the announcement, Lang said: “Doing so now allowed the company to do right by our employees and preserve the value in our technology. We are very grateful to all that supported and participated in Odobo.
“It was indeed a difficult decision to close our games distribution business. I am grateful for the many kind emails we have received since news of our closure hit the press,” he continued.
“It seems we had many fans throughout the industry rooting for Odobo and our ambition to promote greater participation and creativity in games content production.”
