Mobile sports betting revenue in North Carolina, US, fell over 50 per cent year-on-year in April.

Revenue, including promotions and bonuses, fell from US$105.3m in April 2024 to the latest figure of $46.8m, a drop of 55.5 per cent.
Month-on-month, though, revenue climbed 22.7 per cent from $38.1m.
The latest revenue came from a handle of $576.2m, which was down 11.2 per cent year-on-year from $648.9m and down 15.9 per cent from March’s $685m.
Tax revenue increased month-on-month by 22.7 per cent from $6.9m to $8.4m.
