Nine Pennsylvania casinos have applied to the state’s Gaming Control Board for permission to operate internet gambling.

They are all seeking approval to operate interactive games to simulate both slots and table games and poker.

The casinos are Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, operator of the Parx Casino; Stadium Casino, licensed to operate the unopened Live! Hotel and Casino in Philadelphia; Mount Airy Casino Resort; Sands Bethworks Gaming operator of the Sands casino Resort at Bethlehem; Mountainview thoroughbred Racing Association, operator of Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course; Valley Forge Convention Center Partners, operator of Valley Forge Casino Resort; Chester Downs and Marina, operator of Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack; Holdings Acquisition, operator of the Rivers Casino; and Sugarhouse HSP Gaming, operator of SugarHouse Casino.

Approval will be authorised for a $10m fee. The procedure for approval remains open until August 14.
