Mobile sports betting revenue in New York State, US, in June could not keep pace with May’s runaway record but still showed improvements year-on-year.

Gross gaming revenue (GGR) fell by 17 per cent month-on-month from US$248.9m in May to $206.5m.

Year-on-year, though, as reported by the New York State Gaming Commission, the latest figure was a 54.2 per cent improvement on June 2024’s GGR of $133.9m.

As for online sports betting handle, June 2025’s figure of $1.6bn fell 25.4 per cent from May’s $2.2bn but was up 12 per cent on June 2024’s $1.47bn.

In terms of individual operators, DraftKings pulled in the most wagers for June at $610m, but it was FanDuel who posted the most revenue, at $86.3m.
