Igaming continued its growth trend in New Jersey in May, with revenue reaching US$192.1m for the month.

The figure came close to the recently set monthly record of $197.2m in April but was up 19 per cent year-on-year in any case.

The Garden State’s Division of Gaming Enforcement reported that casino win for the nine casino hotel properties was up 5.2 per cent from May 2023 at $239.1m.

However, year-to-date casino win in the land-based sector is “essentially flat,” the regulator said.

Sports betting revenue, meanwhile, showed a decline of 4.2 per cent to $78.8m, down from $82.2m in May 2023.

Total gaming revenue in May for New Jersey was $510m, up 8.3 per cent from $470.9m in May 2023.
