New Jersey’s total gaming revenue for March rose 8.1 per cent year-on-year to US$526.6m, driven by increases in igaming and land-based casino gross gaming revenue.

Casino win for the nine casino hotel properties was $239.8m for March, up 4.9 per cent from $228.6m in March 2023.

Igaming revenue in the Garden State followed suit with stronger growth of 19 per cent, from $165.7m to $197.2m.

However, sports betting revenue declined by 3.6 per cent in March to $89.7m, down from $93m in March 2023.

For the year to date, total gaming revenue hit $1.5bn with March’s figures and is up 15.7 per cent on the $1.3bn generated between January and March last year.

Sports betting handle in New Jersey for March totalled $1.33bn, including $1.28bn online and $43.8m in retail wagering.
