David Purvis has succeeded Richard Carter as CEO of 49’s Ltd following Carter’s retirement.
49’s supplies a portfolio of fixed odds betting products, including 49’s, Irish Lotto Bet and Rapido to bookmakers throughout the UK and Ireland.
Purvis joins 49’s from Stanleybet where he had been managing director and chief executive for five years, having started his career in UK betting with Coral, working in various operational roles including shop and area management.
Purvis paid tribute to his predecessor, commenting: “Richard has done a fantastic job with the 49’s products and in building a successful brand and I am looking forward to the opportunity to develop these further. I am also delighted to be getting back into the UK betting shop business, which is where I started my career.”
