German operator Mybet has closed its online sportsbook, following on from its filing for insolvency.
The management group of Mybet Holding took the decision after conferring with its supervisory board “in order to protect the interests of customers and creditors".
Player funds are protected according to the Maltese Gaming Player Protection Regulation, meaning future withdrawals of funds is ensured. Legal and regulatory requirements mean that withdrawals from player accounts will be subject to delays, due to the necessary involvement of the Malta Gaming Authority.
