The bid by the Spanish North African enclave of Ceuta to acquire any online gambling companies that may be disaffected by any impact on Gibraltar from the UK’s exit from the EU, is gaining momentum – at least from indigenous Spanish operators.

The Galician company, Luckia, has announced the opening of new offices in Ceuta as part of its expansion process. The offices will act as the operational headquarters of the company’s online business in Spain. The new offices should open in mid-2019.

Luckia now has around 2,500 employees located in Spain, Croatia and Portugal in Europe and in Chile, Colombia and Peru in South America.
