Ladbrokes has confirmed that head trader Jon Thompson has been dismissed, along with another member of staff.
Thompson, who previously worked for Bodog, joined the company just over a year ago in a role that involved overseeing the company’s betting odds.
A spokesperson for Ladbrokes told iNTERGAMINGi that Thompson had indeed been sacked but would not comment on the reasons why.
“Other than to confirm Jon Thompson has been dismissed, pending appeal, and another member of staff has been suspended, we cannot comment further until the HR process is complete,” he said.
