Intralot’s Polish subsidiary Totolotek, has received a six-year internet betting licence from the Polish Ministry of Finance.
Totolotek will provide fixed odds betting and sport pool games through the internet to players in Poland. The company also has plans to develop live betting.
Managing director of Intralot Europe region, Fotis Mavroudis, looks forward to what the licence means for the company’s future: “Establishing our interactive operations in the country is part of our strategy to exploit new sales channels and introduce new ways of playing, so as to better address the new preferences and habits of players, especially in younger demographics.

Totolotek’s interactive operations in Poland, expected to commence before 2014, will be developed on Intralot’s technology.
