Gaming products developer Golden Matrix Group has acquired the remaining 29 per cent interest in RKings Competitions in a shares deal.
The consideration was 165,444 Golden Matrix common stock to the two former owners of RKings, a B2C tournament platform.
Golden Matrix CEO Brian Goodman commented that RKings was "highly scalable" and was expected to grow in multiple jurisdictions. In addition to the UK, he expected the platform to be popular in Mexico, where it is already licensed, and from there into other Latin American markets.
Golden Matrix is a Las Vegas-based gaming technology group that develops online gaming IP and builds gaming platforms for international customers, notably in the Asia-Pacific region.
The gaming IP includes tools for marketing, acquisition, retention and monetisation of users.
