The deal, which is expected to take the brand live in H2 this year, will see the tally of operators GiG has powered in the region to five, following the company’s AGCO licence for the Canadian province being awarded in July 2022.

Casino Time, which is Canadian-owned and operated, is a joint venture among retail operators in Ontario’s Charitable Gaming sector.

The company has plans to extend its online ambitions from its initial footprint of 10 Ontario locations.

Marcel Elfersy, chief commercial officer at GiG, said the growing presence of the industry in Ontario “reflects well on the strength of our products and technology in the region.”

D’Arcy Stuart, founder and CEO of Casino Time, added the company will “deliver the personalised service and community experience that our retail customers in Ontario have come to expect, while expanding the product offering into exciting new territory, including bingo, slots, sportsbook and live dealer casino games.”
