Gaming Innovation Group is to expand further into Sweden after being awarded a licence from the Swedish Gambling Authority.
GiG already has a listing on NASDAQ Stockholm and offers its platform provider service in the country.
Spelinspektion recently updated its regulatory requirements, requiring all B2B software providers operating in Sweden to licence their technology in accordance with the updated legislation.
Marcel Elfersy, chief commercial officer at GiG, said the group’s platform and sportsbook are “well suited to the increasingly complex regulatory environments” in Sweden.
