Genius Sports is to remain the exclusive distributor of the National Football League’s official live game data and Next Gen Stats until the end of the 2027-28 season.

As part of the agreement, Genius Sports’ NFL Watch & Bet low latency live game video feeds will be distributed in the US and Canada at the start of the 2023-24 season, with the company employing its machine learning and live streaming technologies.
The extended partnership also includes the right to distribute official Watch & Bet to sportsbooks internationally.
Meanwhile, a suite of interactive fan engagement tools will continue to be provided to the NFL and several of its member clubs and there is the opportunity to distribute digital advertising inventory and marks and logos to global sportsbooks.
Brent Lawton, vice president, Business Development & Strategic Investments for the NFL, said Genius Sports has been “integral” to its player engagement strategy since their partnership began in 2021, with the NFL now looking to work with the “next generation" of fans.
Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports, added the deal has so far “set a new standard for data-driven fan engagement” as the company aims to “power “immersive experiences for NFL fans, broadcasters, teams, sportsbooks, brands and more.”
