London's only dedicated poker venue, the Fox Poker Club, has been transformed into a real-life 3D replica for online users of PKR.com.
This is the first time a true environment has been accurately mapped for the site and means that players are able to virtually visit the full 6,500sq.ft of the Fox Poker Club and play on any of the club’s 20 tables. Users can explore every detail of the venue, from the bar to the Fox Poker Club inscribed playing chips and tables.
The club has been recreated by PKR.com’s developers in a bid to give poker fans a chance to see what it’s all about before visiting the venue to play for real.
Chris North, managing director of Fox Poker Club, commented: "The whole team at the Fox Poker Club sees it as a flattering addition to the site - our members can now ‘visit’ the club without leaving their computer screen, and we’re hoping that a few more players on PKR.com are impressed with what they see and pop down for a game very soon."
