The Belgium Gaming Commission’s blacklist of online gambling operators it wants to see banned by service providers and banking institutions grew this week with the addition of four more names.
Casino-Belgie.com, 1bet2bet.com, Betsafe.com and Intercasino.com have all been added, bringing the total list to 78. Online gambling operators that are already on the list include 888, Betfair, BetFred, Betsson, bet365 and William Hill.
To date, Belgian internet service providers have been slow to exclude operators with just a 50 per cent implementation reported. Players on illegal sites can face fines of up to of €25,000 while operator penalties can rise to €100,000.
