The Swedish gaming authority, Spelinspektionen, has penalised two online gambling companies for failing to offer the compulsory self-exclusion opportunity, Spelpau.se
All operators holding Swedish licences are obliged to offer the ability to join the register, but Genesis Global and PAF Consulting Corporation both failed to do so in the first few days after the launch of the programme on January 1, 2019.
Genesis has received a warning and a fine of SEK4m (€382,000) and PAF a "remark" and a penalty of SEK100,000 (€9,500). Genesis offers games under Casinojoy.com, spel.com, Casinocruise.com, Spinit.com, Sloty.com, Vegashero.com, Pelaa.com and Casinogods.com. PAF provides games on the PAF.com and PAF.se websites.
