Facebanx, a leading biometric security tech company, has become the latest member of the Biometrics Institute.

The organisation was founded in 2001 to promote the responsible use of biometrics as an independent and impartial international forum.
Isabelle Moeller, CEO of the Biometrics Institute, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Facebanx among our 155 members.
“Facebanx represents a growing industry where new companies are pushing biometric technology into the mainstream and their solutions cover many different markets.
“The excellent network of governments, end users and vendors that the Biometrics Institute has established is an invaluable source of information and contacts.”
Matthew Silverstone, CEO for Facebanx, said: “Being part of the biometrics community is an important part of our strategy and the Biometrics Institute is a good fit for us.
“While Facebanx is a small organisation presently, we are growing rapidly and we have a number of key projects ongoing in both the private and public sectors.”
