Swedish igaming solutions supplier Evolution Gaming has reported second quarter operating revenues up by 40 per cent to €59.3m, compared with €42.3m in the same period of last year.

Profit was up from €14.6m to €20.1m.

Results for the half-year to end June showed revenues up 35 per cent to €110.8m (€82m) and profit up from €27.4m to €36.7m.

CEO Martin Carlesund said that the main events in the year were the upswing in demand for new tables with over 500 expected to be live by the end of the year; new customers and the preparations for a new studio in New Jersey coming up; and the award for Live Casino Supplier of the Year for the ninth consecutive year.

He said that the opening of the New Jersey studio was in response to partnerships with several new customers in that market.

“The studio is being built to serve several operators and will initially offer 10 tables with Live American Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Slingshot Auto Roulette.

More games and tables will then be released gradually, including dedicated tables for specific operators. The studio in New Jersey is expected to go live in the third quarter this year.”
