Evolution Gaming is to launch its 100th live casino table at the company’s Riga studio complex in Latvia, making it the largest single-site casino operation in Europe.
The landmark follows what Evolution calls “a year of unprecedented interest in live casino” during which it has seen a sharp increase in demand from operators for dedicated, branded tables.
Evolution’s Riga-based staff has grown to almost 1,000, which includes design and development, customer support, chat moderators, surveillance and fraud teams, plus pit bosses and dealers serving international and localised live roulette, blackjack, baccarat and casino Hold’em tables.
Svante Liljevall, Evolution’s COO, said: “We fully expect table and staff numbers to rise further as more and more operators choose to run their own dedicated tables out of our state-of-the-art studios.
“Firstly, a dedicated table enables an operator to strengthen their brand online and to create unique offerings tailored to specific markets. Having taken that step, Evolution licensees typically see an immediate rise in player numbers, playing times and revenue.
“We are also expanding our training academy to provide regular training and assessments for both new and existing staff. This will ensure that we continue to have the very best dealers working on our tables, delivering a great choice of world-class live games, including the fastest blackjack, and engaging with online players just as if they were in a real casino,” said Liljevall.
