Entain has received approval for its strategic partnership with TAB New Zealand from the New Zealand Minister for Racing, with the deal expected to commence on June 1.
The 25-year collaboration, which was announced in March, includes a total consideration payable by Entain and an ongoing gross profit share agreement.
Dean Shannon, CEO of Entain Australia, said the TAB NZ move will be a “game-changer” for sports betting in New Zealand.
He added that it will provide “significant financial benefits” to the three New Zealand racing codes and range of sporting organisations.
