Following on from the appointment of Stella David as interim chief executive officer, Entain has made several further appointments.
Pierre Bouchut is the new senior independent director, Virginia McDowell is the new chair of renumeration committee, Barry Gibson is the new chair of the people and governance committee and Rahul Welde is to join the people and governance committee as a member.
"On behalf of the board, I am delighted that Pierre has agreed to take on the role of senior independent director to replace Stella. His extensive board experience and knowledge of the company makes him ideally placed for the role of senior independent director,” said Gibson.
“I am also grateful to Virginia and Rahul that they have agreed to take on these additional responsibilities."
