The board of Emailvision has reached an agreement to acquire smartFOCUS Group, a provider of multi-channel marketing and analytics software, for approximately ÂŁ25.3m in cash.
It is believed that combining the two businesses will strengthen Emailvision as a provider of on-demand software for email, mobile and social campaign management, and the smartFOCUS business operations will expand Emailvision’s presence and customer base in the UK and US.
The directors of smartFOCUS have unanimously approved the terms of the offer, which is subject to customary closing conditions and approval by shareholders. The transaction is expected to close before the end of June.
